Last year we had a great time at the Catrala winery in Chile with Felipe Rodriguez.
This year was another beautiful day. After two days of early morning fog we in Vina del Mar, the sky was clear this morning.
Catrala winery makes about 8,000 cases/year of Grand Reserve pinor noir and chardonnay and reserve merlot and sauvignon blanc in Casablanca.
We followed Felipe through his vineyard and the forests that surround his vineyard and then tasted his wines in his vineyard.
I haven’t tried the merlot, but the pinot, chardonnay, and sauvignon blanc are gems.
Thanks for meeting with The Global Wine Industry again Felipe!
